Thai Ambassador: HSE University Is Welcome at Chiang Mai Design Week
HSE representatives met with Sasivat Wongsinsawat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Russia, at HSE University on Pokrovsky Bulvar. Victoria Panova, HSE University Vice Rector, Arseniy Meshcheryakov, Head of the HSE Art and Design School, and Natalia Logutova, Deputy Director of the Institute for Creative Industries Development, took part in the event. The parties discussed cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and creative industries, including HSE's participation in Chiang Mai Design Week.
‘Wonderful’ Winter Ball Held at HSE University in Perm
On February 8, the most long-awaited event of the winter—the HSE Winter Ball—took place at the Triumph Private Philharmonic in Perm. For several months, the participants rehearsed a variety of dances, prepared gorgeous outfits, and created a charming masquerade fairy tale featuring lace masks, swirling ball gowns, waltzes, mazurkas, and more. Tobias Vilhena de Moraes is a historian working at Museu Lasar Segall inSão Paulo, Brazil, and a faculty member of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences at the University of Campinas. He is now working on a master’s degree at HSE University-St Petersburg.
