SERU International Research Conference

The Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) International Consortium will hold its second conference in May 15-17, 2014 to discuss major challenges in undergraduate and graduate education and research driven initiatives to improve student experience at the leading research universities all over the world. Among the topics and roundtable sessions planned for this year's conference:

  • Special challenges facing BRICS countries in reforming and improving undergraduate and graduate education
  • Emerging international models for General Education and the Liberal Arts
  • The important role of Research Engagement for undergraduate/ first degree students
  • Experiences and behaviors of the growing pool of international students
  • The future role of MOOCs in SERU's Research Intensive Universities
